The curtain phase..

For ladies who grow up in England, I think there is a phase of development that ought to be identified and named as " Curtain phase" . However much we snob our elders for being in the curtain phase as teenagers- there comes a time when the curtain phase hits you on the head like a pan and says- Hello dear, its your turn.
This is not a Croatian phase- so I think its country specific. Maybe the Croatian alternative to the curtain phase- is The cake making phase.. . Good god.. Here I am trying to figure out how to make curtain boxes whilst the husband is stuck on the boat for the weekend, and does not see to grumble about it.. until they are up.. Eh, who has a circular saw lying about?

Tribal babies.

Duje has in his childish, seriousness, managed to manuvre his parents into never sleeping a night alone since day he was borne. The need for sleeping in a warm embrace is stronger than he. It is written into I don't know how many generations of precesesors, he is completely programed to sleep , safe, warm, loved, content, never alone. Really the ideal situation for my son is that of some indigenous tribe- in which the whole family sleeps together in one bed.
If we leave him in the bed alone- once he has fallen asleep- he keeps waking up again and again until he feels the body heat of his parents sleeping next to him, and generaly under ,him as the little caterpillar wriggels all night and always finds a way to put his head, hand or foot on a
warm body..If somone sleeps with him- he does not wake up until he is well rested.
ON the other hand his little peaceful sleeping self, manages to hypnotise anyone who puts him to sleap, -who ever that be the parents, the grandma- the uncles- the godmother- duje somehow magicaly hypnotises everyone into sleeping..Is it the peace he radiates that is contageous? Or is there something in evolution which makes pups, babies and younglings be able to soothe and make adults sleepy?
I am not frustrated at this need to be close to us, despite my having prepared his own bed room, there is some sort of peace, and satisfaction at having ones child close at night. And on the nights he has fevers- I wake up becosue I feel his being hot- if he slept alone this would not be the case. ..
I have no idea when this will change..

Bring kidnaped.

actuly I love the feeling. Someone  wants me bad enough to kidnap me from prevous plans. This time it was sailors again. I have a weekenes for sailors it seems, else  wouldn't have marired one. But its midnight, I am trying to paint, having been kidnaped by sailors for the last 20 hours and had drunk lush vine, and ate lush foods, and am truly toxicated,thjus painting is a feat, but , I still paint , hello to all those awake out there ... help me
